eSIMS Instructions : Use this link to learn about eSIMS.

How will I know when I can Register?: Before registration, currently enrolled students will receive an email to their Hunter College SNet email account informing you of the upcoming registration. Your Snet email account is your primary source for registration notices and important information. Please be sure to check your SNet account regularly. Your registration appointment will be posted to eSIMS. You cannot register before your appointment. However, you may register anytime after your appointment throughout the registration period.

Check prerequisites and co-requisites: Make sure any classes you want to register for do not require that you have already taken another course, or that you must take another course at the same time. The Office of the Registrar does not override prerequisites and co-requisites, you must consult with the academic department in order to register for the course.

Understand the numbering system: The Schedule of Classes uses a numbering system to refer to classes. Make sure you understand the difference between the course department and number such as English 120, and the section code, such as 3456, which you use for registration.

Please note the Registration & Payment Schedule available for each registration period on our website.
Avoid problems
– Check the Registration and Payment Schedule for tuition due dates. All course registration and tuition payment is performed online at CUNY ESIMS via each students CUNY Portal account at www.cuny.edu Tuition bills are not mailed.
You must pay your tuition and fees by the deadline(s) available on the Registration & Payment Schedule. “I didn’t receive a bill in the mail’ is not an acceptable reason for not paying your tuition by the due date.
